"Will not require runway - coming in vertically!"
about 9 years ago – Tue, Sep 08, 2015 at 10:46:45 PM

The studio is bustling with activity at the moment. Shooting is well underway and great progress is being made on the first episode. Although we're very busy, we haven't forgotten our backers - the people who made all this possible. Our Backerkit surveys are almost ready to go and will hopefully be out this week. As mentioned previously, each survey has been customised by hand, and we want to check that all is perfect before we send them.

In the meantime, here are a couple more items of interest, including our very first Thunderbird 1 rocket test (quickly shot on an iPhone - so forgive the quality!)

Thunderbirds Filming is GO!
about 9 years ago – Fri, Sep 04, 2015 at 12:13:19 AM

It's been another exciting - and exhausting! - week on Thunderbirds 1965. Filming started on Tuesday and, after a slow build-up period, is now running at full speed. It's very strange to see the puppets back in action to celebrate their golden anniversary.

Here are some more pictures from the week.

First Week of Production
about 9 years ago – Mon, Aug 31, 2015 at 09:09:45 PM

The first week on Thunderbirds 1965 has finished. It seems extraordinary that thanks to so many people the project has come to life so quickly. Tomorrow is the 1st of September - fifty years ago this month the first episode of Thunderbirds was broadcast on UK television. We're hoping to make this a birthday to remember!

Here are some images from the last few days.
